We share our secrets with you - constantly updating the favourite things we love doing in our city of Cape Town and as we travel across South Africa.

Cool bars

La Med - Camps Bay

For years Cape Town's number one sundowner spot, though if you want peace and tranquility then this is not for you. Located between Clifton and Camps Bay overlooking the sea, it's straight off the beach for people watching and the vibe.

Wafu - Mouille Point

Located above Wakame restaurant in Mouille point. Beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean and a hot spot for an afternoon cocktail.

Polana - Kalk Bay

Right on the rocks at Kalk Bay harbour, you can literally sit with your feat dangling in the ocean, staring at the mountains in the distance across False Bay. When the whales are in town it's a stunning spectacle.

Planet Bar - City Center

Located in the famous Mount Nelson Hotel, it's a great place to stop for a cocktail and listen to the piano or sit in the peaceful gardens.

The Radisson Hotel - Mouille Point

Another cool place, situated right on the sea front where you can mix with the sophisticated set and watch the stream of ships entering Cape Town harbour.

Boat on Table Bay - from V & A Waterfront

You don't just have to have your feet on dry land to enjoy your sundowner. Try a romantic sunset cruise on one of the sailing boats that leave from the Waterfront and enjoy spectacular views back over the city and our towering Table Mountain.
