Rust En Vrede, Stellenbosch
This month Anne Mann, senior coordinator with our sister company Wedding Concepts, shares her experience of a romantic birthday dinner at Rust En Vrede, Stellenbosch.
"Headed by supreme chef David Higgs, Rust En Vrede has recently bagged a top 10 South African restaurant award and it's not hard to see why! From the minute you get out of your car to the time you get back in to go home, the experience is just breathtaking. The attention to detail, the setting, the ambience and not to mention the food - (oh the food!) - consistently score 10/10!. A glass of champagne offered on arrival and complimentary sparkling mineral water throughout the evening are also great touches. One has a choice of a 4 course or 6 course menu - the 6 course is available with or without wine pairing. An extremely knowledgeable and friendly sommelier will assist with all wine related matters. Simply outstanding."
